Offstreet’s rules engine is designed to offer extreme flexibility so you can properly enforce the unique restrictions your facility has in place.
A location’s unique parking rules are often too complex to be fully captured by parking management systems. This leads to rule compromises and inadequate lot enforcement.
Offstreet’s rules engine is designed to offer extreme flexibility so you can properly enforce the unique restrictions your facility has in place.
This is especially useful with institutional locations which contain numerous sub-groups that have completely different parking access permissions.
“Offstreet’s rules engine is designed to allow organizations to manage their lots as they intended, without making compromises on what rules can and cannot be enforced. Our goal is to provide a solution so institutions can properly enforce the rules that they determined best fit their organizations parking and transportation goals.” - Matt Fahlman, CEO at Offstreet Technology
Offstreet’s rules engine consists of four groups of rules that can be applied: Start and expiry time restrictions, duration limits, registration and code-based usage restrictions, and unique vehicle restrictions.
Using a combination of these rules, Offstreet’s software allows you to create custom rules and restrictions for sub-groups within a location - which ensures that parking abuse is minimized. And did we mention we integrate with LPR?
